日曜稽古会 (2025 . 3. 23 ) , Sunday Practice Session

小学生が剣道体験にきてくれました。短時間でしたが剣道の魅力を少しでも感じてくれたらと思います。残念ながら東広島運動公園のアリーナは来月から改修工事のため一年間利用できません。来年一新したアリーナで稽古できるのを楽しみに日々の稽古に励みます。

Elementary school kids came over to try Kendo. Though the trial time was not so long, we hope they could be interested in Kendo a little more. Unfortunately the Arena of Higashi Hiroshima Sports Park is going to be unavailable through one year from this April due to large-scale repair work. We will do regular Kendo practice well with looking forward to practice again in the new arena.

6年生卒団式 (2025 . 3. 18 ) , Ceremony for graduation of the association

小学校卒業を一区切りとして、卒団式を行いました。　中学生になった彼らとまた稽古できる機会が楽しみです。

It has been held regularly as a juncture with graduation of elementary school. Looking forward to the opportunity of Kendo practice with the graduated members again in near future.

剣道お試し体験会（2025. 2.11）Kendo trial session

地域の子供たちに直接見て剣道を知ってもらいたく開催しました。　たくさん来ていただいて感謝しております。少しでも興味をもってもらえると幸いです。

We would like kids in community to know the outline of Kendo by watching it actually, and we held Kendo trial session. Really good for the participation of a lot of kids ! We hope they will be interested in Kendo.

尾三地区スポーツ少年団剣道交歓大会 (2025. 2. 9) Tournament for reception among Kendo Junior Sports Association in Onomichi & Mihara Area

団体戦で小学生の部・中学生の部にそれぞれ出場しました。序盤で敗れはしましたが、すべての選手に昨年からの成長がみられ、得るものがありました。短所を克服し更なる向上を期待してます。

Participated in Team Tournament for elementary school division and junior high school division. Although we lost early in the tournament, all team members showed growth from last year, and there was something to be gained. We are looking forward to seeing them overcome their weakpoints and improve even further.

日曜稽古会 (2025 . 1. 26 ) , Sunday Practice Session

東広島運動公園・剣道場において、剣道をしている近隣の中学生も参加して稽古会を行いました。　真冬の寒さに負けないように活気ある稽古会でした。

The Sunday practice session with participation of neighborhood junior high school students who were doing Kendo as well was held in the Kendo-hall of Higashi Hiroshima Sports Park. It was aggressive practice to beat severe cold weather of winter season.

団内交流会（2024.12.21）,

Internal festival for team building

団内の親睦を深めるための試合やレクリエーションを行いました。小中学生に加え高校生OBも参加してくれました。恒例の風船割り勝負を行い楽しく過ごしました。さらに夜の忘年会では大いに盛り上がりました。　今年の活動ももうじき無事に終わり、来年も元気に活動します！

Annual internal game and recreation have been held to promote friendship within our team. In addition to members of elementary and junior high school, high school alumni also participated thankfully. We spent delightful time with the regular attraction of breaking paper balloons each other. And the year-end party after this event was a lot of fun. This year's activities will soon come to a complete successfully, and we will continue to work well next year!

第39回熊本杯少年剣道大会（2024.11.24）,

The 39th Kumamoto Cup Kendo Tournament.

小学生・中学生の部でそれぞれ出場、自身の剣道をだすべく頑張りました。　中でも今年剣道を本格的に始めた小学生が初勝利することができました。まだまだ修得する基本はたくさんありますが、自身と励みにつながったと思います。

Team members participated in each division of elementary school and junior high school and tried their own best performance. As an impressed topic, it was the first time an elementary school girl who started Kendo in full swing this year could win a match. Although there are more required basic practices for her, it would give her self-confidence and encouragement.

東広島地区剣道段位審査会（2024.10.14）,

しっかりした稽古と準備のおかげで、審査を受けたメンバー全員が見事合格しました。頂いた段位に相応しい礼法をもってさらに稽古を積んでいってもらいたいです。

All members who challenged the examination have passed each target dan-grade owing to their steady practice and preparation. Expecting to build upon their practices with proper decorum of each accepted dan-grade.

秋の稽古会 (2024.9.23),

Autumn Practice Session.

6月の稽古会に続き、剣道をしている近隣の中学生・高校生も参加して稽古会を開催しました。昇段審査に向けて剣道形の稽古の後、基本稽古，打込み・指導稽古をしっかり行いました。この稽古会を今後に活かすことを期待しています。

The Kendo practice session was held with participation of nearby junior high school and high school students who were also doing Kendo as well as the session in June. Toward the examination for promotion of dan-grade of Kendo, after practice of the demonstration by using wooden swords, so called Kendo-kata, we had various type of practices by using bamboo swords. We hope that this practice session will be good for their motivation for Kendo in the future.

第57回竹原市武道祭剣道大会 (2024.9.15),

The 57th Takehara City's Budo-Sai Kendo Tournament.

小学生の部・中学生の部で参加しました。9月半ばにもかかわらず厳しい暑さの中、懸命に試合に挑みました。試合において気づいた各々の課題に向き合って、克服できるよう励んでもらいたいです。

Took part in the elementary school students division and the junior high school students division. They tried to do their best in severe hot condition in spite of the middle of September. 　Would like members to do further practice so that they could overcome each weakpoint which was noticed in the match..

第38回近郷スポーツ少年団交歓剣道大会 (2024.8.25),

The 38th Kendo-match for fraternization among Kendo junior sports club association of neighboring districts.

三原市大和町の大和中学校で開催された、大和剣道クラブ主催の交歓試合です。　個人戦（小学生の部／中学生の部）では数名が優勝・準優勝・三位入賞を果たし、団体戦（小学生の部）では準優勝を得ることができました。👏　厳しい暑さの中でも頑張って稽古を続けてきた成果だと思います。👏　これからの秋の大会や昇段審査に向けて、また稽古に励みましょう。😉

This event is held at Daiwa junior high school of Daiwa-cho, Mihara city in every this summer season hosted by Daiwa Kendo Club. Regarding the individual match division ( for elementary school students / junior high school students), some members of our kendo-club association have finished in Winner, Runner-up, and The 3rd place. Then regarding the team competition division for elementary school students, our team has got in Runner-up. 👏 It will be the outcome of continuous practice even in this hot summer condition. 👏 For the next, let’s do kendo-practice toward the autumn match or the examination for kendo-dan promotion in near future. 😉

第27回東広島地区少年剣道錬成大会（2024.8.4）, The 27th Kendo training and match for elementary school kids in Higashi Hiroshima area

今年も参加し良い経験となりました。同じ道場でも敵味方に分かれて他の道場の仲間たちと混合チームを編成し行われた総当たり団体試合はお互いに親睦を深められる楽しい機会でした。　そして打ち込み動作の正しさを競う基本稽古では皆、日頃の稽古の成果がでていました。

It seems nice experience for all participants. The round-robin tournament implemented by special teams formed by mixing different kendo teams was great opportunity to get more friendship. And they have shown the effect of regular practice in the basic motion competition.

級位審査会（2024.7.15）, The review board for Kyu-grade of Kendo,

挑戦した団員たちはそれぞれ級を取得し、次の昇段・昇級（初段・１級）に向けてまた稽古に励みます。

All challengers of our team have acquired the adequate Kyu-grade for themselves. It was great accomplishment for them to have a motivation to progress, and commence further practice toward next grade for each member.

日曜稽古会 (2024 . 6. 16 ) , Sunday Practice Session

東広島運動公園・剣道場において、剣道をしている近隣の中学生も参加して稽古会を行いました。　木刀稽古，基本稽古，打込み・指導稽古を行い充実した時間を過ごしました。今秋にも開催できることを期待しています。

The Sunday practice session with participation of junior high school students who were doing kendo as well was held in the kendo-hall of Higashi-Hiroshima Sports Park. We had fulfilling time due to various type of practice such as the demonstration by using wooden swords. Expecting the next session would be held on this autumn.

6年生卒団式 (2024 . 3. 27 ) , Ceremony for graduation of the association

小学校卒業を一区切りとして、卒団式を行いました。　中学生になった彼らとまた稽古できる機会が楽しみです。

団内交流会 (2023 . 12. 9 ) , Internal festival for team building

団内の親睦を深めるための試合やレクリエーションを行いました。今年度から剣道を始めたメンバーたちにとっては初試合となり良い経験になりました。風船割も行い楽しく過ごしました。さらに夜には高校生になったメンバーたちも集まり、忘年会を盛大に催しました。

Internal game and recreation were held to promote friendship within the club. It was the first match for fresh members who started Kendo in this fiscal year and must be a good experience for them. And we spent delightful time with the attraction of hitting paper balloon. Furthermore we had a grand year-end party at the evening with a lot of people including old members who reached high school age.

久しぶりに小学生チーム，中学生チームともに男子女子混合で参加しました。

For the first time in a while, both the elementary team and junior high school team which were consisted of boys and girls took participated.

第35回黒瀬杯争奪剣道大会 (2023.9.3)

The 35th Kurose Cup Kendo Tournament

中学生が2チームで参加しました。強豪揃いで厳しい試合でした。　夏休み明けの試験勉強もある中、頑張ってくれました。

Two teams of junior high school pupils participated. It was a tough match with all the strong teams.　They did their best despite need studying for exams after the summer break.

第37回近郷スポーツ少年団交歓剣道大会 (2023.8.27)

37th Kendo-match for fraternization among Kendo junior sports club association of neighboring districts.

三原市大和町の大和中学校で開催された、大和剣道クラブ主催の交歓試合です。　団体戦（小学生の部）で3位入賞しました。

This event was held at Daiwa junior high school of Daiwa-cho, Mihara city . A team consisted of elementary school kids in our club has finished in 3rd place.

第26回東広島地区少年剣道練成大会 (2023. 8. 6 )

26th Kendo training and match for elementary school kids in Higashi Hiroshima area

コロナ前に行われていた構成での錬成大会が、４年ぶりに開催されました。　西条剣道少年団からは殆どの小学生メンバーが参加し、特に初心者による打ち込みには普段の稽古の成果が見事に表れていました。彼らの今後の成長に期待したいです。

This conventional style event has been held with the first time in 4 years due to covid-19. From our team, almost members of elementary school joined in, and especially beginners before wearing protectors have shown good performance with efffect of regular practice on demonstration of the Kendo offence motion. Expecting their further progress.

第53回住吉祭少年剣道大会 (2023. 7. 17 )

53th Sumiyoshi-sai Kendo tournament for kids and youths

中学生の男女混合チームで参加しました。　力が発揮できず多くの課題が見えた試合となりましたが、これを糧にまた稽古を積んでいってもらいたいです。

Joined in this tournament as a mixed team with boys and girls of junior high school students. Unfortunately they could not do their best performance and found out problems to be improved in the game. So would like them to try further practice to overcome the problems.

級位審査会 (2023. 7. 17 )

Screening for top "kyu" level of Kendo,

初段の前段階である剣道一級の審査会がありました。　挑戦した団員は全員無事に合格することができました。　日頃の稽古の賜物ですね。

Screening for first "kyu" level required before getting kendo's first "dan" level was held on July 17th. All challengers in our team have successfully passed. It seems due to trying their best on regular practice.

納涼会 (2023. 7. 8 ),

Dinner party on summer evening

団員の子供たち、保護者のみなさん、そして剣道指導の先生方で一堂に会し納涼会を催しました。　良いコミュニケーションがとれて楽しいひとときを過ごしました。

Young members, their parents and the kendo coachers gathered in a hall to hold dinner party on summer evening. We had good communication and spent delightful time.

広島県女性剣道大会(第35回) (2023 . 6. 18 ) , 35th Female Kendo tournament in Hiroshima

6/18に湯来体育館で行われた女性剣道大会に出場しました。個々の良かった点や改善点をさらに磨き、次に活かしていきます。

Participated in 35th Female Kendo tournament that was held on June 18th at Yuki gymnasium. For members, they will further brush up their both good points and challenging points individually for the future.

6年生卒団式 (2023 . 3. 24 ) , Ceremony for graduation of the association

小学校卒業を一区切りとして、３月に卒団式を行います。卒団した子たちの多くは中学生の間も団内に所属してくれています。

It is held regularly on March as a period with graduation of elementary school. Most of graduation members continue to belong to the association while junior high school students.

6年生卒業記念の食事会 (2023 . 3. 19 ) , Dinner party to celebrate graduation of elementary school

コロナの影響で4年ぶりの開催となりました。　開催できなかった世代の中学生たちも加わり楽しく賑やかな会食でした。

It is the first time in four years due to affect of covid-19. The party was so enjoyable with junior high school students who could not have a chance in their generation.

団内交流会 (2022 . 12. 18 ) , Internal festival for team building

東広島運動公園にて、団内の親睦を深めるための試合やレクリエーションを行いました。　入会して間もない児童も参加し、風船割りのレクリエーションを取り入れながら、楽しい時間を過ごしました。

Internal game and recreation were held in Higashi-Hiroshima Sports Park to promote friendship within the club. A fresh kid joined in, and we implemented the attraction of hitting paper balloon. So we could have delightful time.
